Kids

Our kids build God's kingdom by GROWING in His Word, loving others boldly, and worshiping joyfully.
Our kids’ ministry offers three classroom environments that guide children into deeper relationships with their peers, our volunteers, and Jesus.
For ages 1-4, unstructured play helps little ones connect with volunteers who show them God’s love through fun and interaction.
Kinder-3rd grade experiences worship, an engaging Bible story, prayer, and a fun activities.
4th-5th grade joins adult worship first, then gather for Bible reading, prayer, discussion, and journaling designed just for pre-teens.

Students

In student ministry, we strive to lead students to become passionate followers of Christ. By partnering with parents and trained leaders, our mission is to teach and inspire the next generation to be founded in their faith and confident in their Creator. Through regular Bible study and small group gatherings, we encourage students to walk boldly towards Christ, apply His truth to their lives, and develop strong, life-changing relationships with the God of the universe. We want our students to know Jesus so that they might be excited about sharing His name and making Him known to others. Our prayer is that the church would be the future of our world and our students, the future of the church.

Groups

At Vineyard Church Baton Rouge, small groups are where real life and real faith come together and create real connection. These gatherings offer a space to build meaningful relationships, grow in your walk with Jesus, and experience community beyond Sunday mornings. Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time or have been following Christ for years, small groups provide a place to belong, to be known, and to be encouraged as we learn, pray, and walk together.

Prayer Partners

Prayer Partnership is a core rhythm in our church designed to help people grow spiritually and connect deeply through prayer. For 30 days, two individuals commit to praying together regularly—sharing needs, celebrating answers, and inviting God to shape their hearts in unity and faith. It’s a simple yet powerful way to experience God’s presence, strengthen trust in Him, and build authentic relationships rooted in prayer and encouragement.

Bible Reading

Our Bible reading plan follows a format of 1-chapter-a-day, 5-days-a-week and encourages the S.O.A.P. method of journaling detailed below. You’ll find a PDF of the plan you can download by clicking here.
As you read and listen, we encourage you to use the S.O.A.P. method of writing down what God is saying through His Word:
Scripture: As you read the chapter for the day – Find a verse or two that were meaningful to you and write them down.
Observation: What is God pointing out in the verse(s) you found? What is God Saying? What did you learn?
Application: How can you make the verse(s) personal? What is something you can do today to apply it to your life?
Prayer: Write out a prayer to the Lord.  Ask Him to help you with the application, or to reveal more about the text, or to find ways to share what you are learning with others.
