What To Expect

In our main sanctuary we have two rows of long tables with butcher paper, crayons, colored pencils, sharpies, pens, and our Art Bibles.  These tables are open to artists, doodlers, and note-takers of all ages. Our hope is that God will flow through your creativity – and add joy to your heart in the process.

Here at the Vineyard, we believe our stories matter. We also know that our stories are a key ingredient to authentic connection. So during Sunday service, we take three minutes – exactly 180 seconds – and gather around 1 question everyone has an answer to. We encourage everyone to find one person, listen to their answer and share your own. We understand God to be a great listener – and we want to be like Him. So we participate in this delightful little rhythm each week.

Our 4th-12th graders join us for worship in our adult service every Sunday.  When the worship concludes, they are dismissed to their classes in the Life Center for Bible Study. Our 4th & 5th grade class focuses on Bible literacy – every child holds an actual Bible and reads the story they are studying from the text. 
Our 6th-12th graders have youth Bible study in the youth room on 1st & 3rd Sundays. On 2nd & 4th Sundays they stay in the main service – so they can develop a connection with church worship as they grow into adulthood.

At the end of each service, we share open communion with all who wish to participate. It’s a sacred time to pause, remember, and receive the gift of God’s grace and forgiveness through Jesus—His body broken for us and His blood poured out for us.
